Yordan Alvarez

Yordan Alvarez delivered another signature display at the plate for the Houston Astros, launching a milestone home run against the Kansas City Royals. The veteran slugger sent his 40th blast of the season deep to right field in the fifth inning of a 6-2 victory. Alvarez became the fifth Astros player ever to reach 40 homers and the first since Alex Bregman in 2019 (41).
