Esmerlyn Valdez hasn’t been shy to swing for the fences since making his MLB debut, going yard for the fourth straight game in an 11-7 win. The Dominican Republic native crushed a breaking pitch to left field to put his team on the board in the fourth inning. Valdez is just the sixth player since 1900 with a four-game home run streak in his first 16 career contests.
