Eduardo Valencia couldn't have asked for a better debut in the Majors, not waiting long before hitting his first big-league home run. Pinch-hitting in the seventh inning, the Venezuelan native smashed a four-seam fastball to center field in a 4-1 win. Valencia became the 10th player in Club history to leave the yard in his first career MLB at-bat.
