Yordan Alvarez set the Astros franchise rookie record for home runs when he crushed his 23rd home run of the season in the first inning of a 15-0 drubbing of the Oakland Athletics. Alvarez then added his 24th home run in the following inning, continuing what has been a dominant first year in the Majors.
