Nelson Cruz

The Twins split Saturday's doubleheader with Kansas City, but Nelson was "homer happy" in both contests. The 40-year-old launched a 448-foot homer during Minnesota's 4-2 victory in the first game and left the yard again during the second game, this one going 432 feet. This feat made Cruz third-oldest player to hit a home run in each game of a doubleheader since 1900. The two others were Stan Musial (41 years, 159 days) and Carlton Fisk (42 years, 258 days).
