Edgar Martinez provided the deciding blow in Game 4 of the ALDS against the Yankees. With the teams knotted, 6-6, in the eighth inning, Martinez broke the tie by crushing a grand slam to give the Mariners a 10-6 lead in an eventual 11-8 win.
