In the third inning of Friday night's matchup with the Chicago Cubs, Joey Votto launched a 429-foot two-run homer to give the Cincinnati Reds a 3-2 lead. This shot marked Votto's 300th career home run, becoming just the third player in franchise history to reach the three-century mark. The 37-year-old trails only Johnny Bench and Frank Robinson on the Cincinnati Reds all-time home run list. Votto is now the ninth active player in MLB with 300 homers.
