Dylan Cease

Coming off a seven-inning shutout in his previous start, Dylan Cease was brilliant once again as he tossed another six scoreless innings while matching his career high in strikeouts, with 11. The 25-year-old also shined on offense, as he went 3-for-3 with two singles and a double. Cease is now the second pitcher in the modern era to record 10 plus strikeouts, allow one hit or less and to have three or more hits. The last pitcher to do this was Catfish Hunter in his perfect game in 1968.
