Coming off a 4-for-4 night with a homer in his return from the injured-list, Fernando Tatis Jr. delivered another blast for his 50th career home run in the 16-1 victory over the Seattle Mariners. After he launched his 50th career homer in just his 171st game, Tatis Jr. became the fastest shortstop in MLB history to reach the half century mark. "El Niño" is also the fastest San Diego Padres player in franchise history to reach 50 home runs. Fernando went on to finish the contest 2-for-4 with four RBI.
