The 41-year-old Hill was lights out all month as he posted a 0.78 ERA over 34 and 2/3 innings of work. The southpaw's marquee start came on May 25 against the Royals where he struck out a career-high 13 batters over eight masterful innings. Gausman has been step-for-step with Hill as the San Francisco Giants ace racked up 49 strikeouts over his six starts in May. The 30-year-old right hander posted a 0.73 ERA and held opponents to a miniscule .165 batting average.
