After a scoreless 10th inning, the Detroit Tigers turned to their veteran, Miguel Cabrera, for a lift. The 38-year-old slugger would deliver an RBI-single to give the Tigers a 6-5 lead. This knock moved Cabrera past Barry Bonds into 37th on the all-time MLB hits list with 2,936 career knocks. Miguel’s 11th-inning heroics proved to be the game winner, as the Tigers would go on to win, 6-5.
