In his first game suiting up for his new Club, Anthony Rizzo connected for a towering longball in the top of the sixth inning to spark the New York Yankee offense. The 31-year-old slugger punished a 91-mph fastball, delivered from Zach Thompson, and launched it 449 feet with an exit velocity of 112 mph into the right-field upper deck at LoanDepot Park, per Statcast. Rizzo would finish his night going 2-for-3 with two runs scored, one walk, and one RBI in the Bronx Bombers 3-1 win over the Miami Marlins.
