Cody Bellinger's big night at the plate helped guide the Los Angeles Dodgers to an 8-2 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies. The Scottsdale, Arizona, slugger went 2-for-5 with two runs scored, two longballs and four RBI. Bellinger's first home run of the contest came after a 13-pitch duel with Kyle Gibson. After Gibson fell behind two balls and no strikes, Cody fouled off nine of the next 10 pitches. Finally, on pitch number 13, the 26-year-old belted an opposite-field, two-run homer over the left-center-field wall.
