Ted Williams

After a 19-year, Hall-of-Fame career spent with the Boston Red Sox, Ted Williams donned the Washington Senators uniform for the first time as their manager. Over 45,000 fans were in attendance at RFK Stadium to watch the Senators take on the New York Yankees.
