In Wednesday night's contest between the Twins and the Cleveland Indians, Ryan allowed one hit over seven scoreless innings and struck out four batters. With this effort, he became the first pitcher in AL history to throw seven or more scoreless innings while allowing no more than one base runner in either of his first two big-league starts.
