Nestor Cortes Jr. delivered a much-needed solid outing on the mound for the New York Yankees as they took on the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday night. “Nasty Nestor” went on to scatter just three hits over six and 1/3 innings of one-run ball and struck out a career-high 11 batters. Through Cortes Jr.’s unorthodox mix of pitching deliveries, he was able to keep the Baltimore offense off-balanced throughout his outing. The Bronx Bombers would go on to win, 4-3.
