In the bottom of the third inning in the AL Central Division matchup between the Detroit Tigers and the Chicago White Sox, Miguel Cabrera connected for a sacrifice fly to reach his 1,800th career RBI. With this effort, the two-time American League MVP joined Albert Pujols, Manny Ramirez and Rafael Palmeiro as the only foreign-born players to reach this total. The Tigers would go on to win, 4-3.
