On the heels of his passing of the 700-career-home-run milestone, Albert Pujols showed no signs of slowing down while belting the 703rd longball of his Major League Baseball career, and in doing so, broke his tie with Babe Ruth on the all-time career RBI list. In the sixth inning of last night's contest between his St. Louis Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Pirates, Pujols sent a two-run homer right over the left-field wall for his 2,215th and 2,216th RBI of his career.
