Manny Machado

Game 2 of the NLCS yesterday afternoon was huge for Manny Machado and the San Diego Padres, as they erased an early four-run deficit to rise above the Philadelphia Phillies, 8-5. Machado collected three hits on the day, highlighted by his seventh-inning solo blast that capped his Club's offense with their eighth run of the game. This was Machado's fifth home run of the 2022 Major League Baseball Postseason, tying his Club's single-Postseason record, previously held alone by Ken Caminiti.
