Adam Wainwright・Yadier Molina

Yesterday afternoon, the St. Louis Cardinals toppled the Kansas City Royals, 10-0, thanks in no small part to starting pitcher Adam Wainwright, who threw an incredible, seven scoreless innings. The victory was the 202nd for the iconic battery of Wainwright and catcher Yadier Molina, tying them with Warren Spahn and Del Crandall. Interestingly, it was the pair’s 310th start, meaning they’ve won just over 65% of their games, which is impressive in its own right.
