George Brett

Hall-of-Fame infielder George Brett finished his Major League Baseball career with an astounding 3,154 hits, but on the road to that number, Brett hit his 2,500th in a contest between his Kansas City Royals and the Minnesota Twins. Brett connected for this milestone hit by sending the ball up the middle and driving in a run to give his Club the early lead on their way to their 3-1 victory.
