Carlton Fisk

OCTOBER 21, 1975 — Carlton Fisk belted one of the most dramatic home runs of his 24-year-long career. After a deadlock tie that sent the game into extra innings, Fisk approached the plate in the bottom of the 12th inning, connecting with a pitch from Cincinnati Reds hurler Pat Darcy to lead his Club to their 7-6 victory. Although they eventually lost Game 7 of the series, this home run is positively engrained into the memories of Red Sox fans everywhere.
