During yesterday's contest between his St. Louis Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Pirates, Albert Pujols passed Willie Mays to become ninth on the all-time games played leaderboard, playing his 2,993rd Major League Baseball game. Additionally, he also usurped Mays' total base record when he reached his 6,067th base. Amazingly, Pujols also tied Tris Speaker's record to place the pair at 12th in MLB runs scored.
