Despite the rain shortening Monday night’s contest between the Cincinnati Reds and the Arizona Diamondbacks by two innings, Reds rookie starting pitcher Hunter Greene still brought the heat. In what became the third win of Greene’s 2022 Major League Baseball campaign, the 22-year-old Los Angeles native recorded eight strikeouts with zero walks, while allowing just one hit over his complete-game, seven-inning performance. As a result, Greene’s Club took home the victory, 7-0.
