Making his Major League Baseball debut in a contest between his Toronto Blue Jays and the Detroit Tigers, top prospect Gabriel Moreno notched the very first hit of his MLB career. The hit, a single to center field, came in the ninth inning and, unfortunately, wasn't enough to ignite his Club's offense to a late-game comeback. However, Moreno's impressive debut still gave Toronto Blue Jays fans something to celebrate.
