First pole position in F1 - F1 TOPPS NOW® Card #37 - PR: 2130

Carlos Sainz claimed his first pole position in F1 at the FORMULA 1 BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2022. The Spanish driver excelled in difficult conditions to take his maiden pole, beating off challenges from the likes of Max Verstappen and teammate Charles Leclerc. It was a battle all the way to the final session with Leclerc spinning and Verstappen thwarted by yellow flags. Sainz managed to breeze through this, setting an excellent time and getting maximum performance out of the Ferrari F1-75. The pole position sets up the race perfectly for Sainz to go for his first F1 victory.
