To say that Pittsburgh Pirates rookie shortstop Oneil Cruz is on fire would somehow still be an understatement. Yesterday's contest between his Club and the Chicago Cubs was Cruz's sixth MLB game, counting two from last season, and after hitting an RBI double in the sixth inning, he has upped his consecutive-game RBI streak to six. Remarkably, the 23-year-old, Dominican Republic native is now just one behind the all-time MLB record for consecutive-RBI performances to open a player's career.
