In an 11-1 Friday night drubbing of the visiting Seattle Mariners, designated hitter Yordan Alvarez made some franchise longball history. The powerful slugger connected for his 30th home run of the season in the bottom of the sixth inning off reliever Tommy Milone, becoming the fastest player in Astros history to reach that mark in a single year. Alvarez, who is only three homers shy of his career-best, has those 30 homers and 69 RBI in just 84 games for the first-place Club.
