Atlanta Braves fireballer Spencer Strider became the fastest player in AL/NL history to reach the 200-strikeout milestone after his 10-strikeout performance in yesterday afternoon's meeting between his Club and the Philadelphia Phillies. Incredibly, Strider bested Randy Johnson by just under an inning with 130 innings, who previously held the record with 130 and 2/3. Furthermore, Strider's one-run, six-inning performance undoubtedly helped his Braves along to their eventual 5-2 victory.
