Yesterday afternoon, Marlins starting pitcher Sandy Alcantara tossed the fifth complete game of his 2022 Major League Baseball campaign, leading his Club to a 3-1 win over the Washington Nationals. Amazingly, this made Alcantara just the fifth pitcher in Marlins history to record five complete games in a single season. Furthermore, this fifth complete game means Alcantara has more under his belt this year than any other entire team does.
