Yesterday afternoon, New York Yankees starting pitcher Nestor Cortes had a phenomenal outing in his Club's meeting with the Baltimore Orioles. Incredibly, Cortes, who threw for seven and 1/3 innings, allowed just one hit and no runs over the course of his career-best-tying 12-strikeout performance. Further, Cortes walked just two batters en route to the 12th win of his 2022 Major League Baseball campaign after his Club walked away with an 8-0 victory.
