Houston Astros premier slugger and designated hitter continues to crush during this Postseason. Yordan Alvarez was at it again, striking with his first homer of the game to put his Club on the board in the second inning. The 2019 American League Rookie of the Year had his sight set on more, hammering another solo shot in the eighth inning off Rangers Aroldis Chapman. With his ALCS Game 2 effort, Alvarez now has 12 career Postseason dingers, six of which coming in six games in 2023 October Baseball. The 26-year-old becomes the all-time Postseason home run leader for a Cuban-born player, surpassing Randy Arozarena.
