In the fourth inning of last night’s contest between his Detroit Tigers and the Tampa Bay Rays, Cabrera drove in a run with an RBI single to shallow right off starting pitcher Zach Eflin. Incredibly, this was the 3,090th hit of Cabrera’s MLB career, nudging him past Ichiro to become 24th on the all-time hits list.
