The "Polar Bear" has been red-hot this past week and continued swinging for the fences on Friday night with the Cleveland Guardians in town. Facing a 7-3 deficit in the bottom of the seventh inning, Alonso worked a 3-1 count on reliever James Karinchak before unloading on a 97-mph fastball, clearing the bases and knotting the game up 7-7. The grand slam blast was 28-year-old's 17th homer of the season, good for top spot in MLB.
