J.D. Martinez joined an elite club on Tuesday. In the Los Angeles Dodgers game against the Colorado Rockies, the five-time MLB All-Star cracked an early two-run homer in the top of the third inning. The shot marked the 299th of his career, and he wouldn’t need to wait long until he reached 300. Three innings later, Martinez launched his second homer of the game and 300th of his career. The slugger is the first player since Miguel Cabrera in 2012 to reach 300 dingers in a multi-homer game.
