Eugenio Suárez has been a more-than dependable bat in the Seattle Mariners lineup, and after picking up an RBI in his 10th consecutive contest, he surpassed Edgar Martinez for the longest RBI streak in franchise history. The record-breaking run was generated in the eighth inning of last night’s clash with the Angels when Suárez squeezed a single up the middle to score teammate Julio Rodríguez from second base. What’s more, the RBI broke a tie and did its part to ensure victory for Seattle, 9-7.
