Major League Baseball, meet Davis Schneider. In yesterday's contest between his Toronto Blue Jays and the Boston Red Sox, the 24-year-old, New Jersey state native connected for his first big-league home run in his very first at-bat. The career-first longball was a no-doubter belted in the second inning, sent high over the Green Monster off Red Sox left-hander James Paxton. Schneider, who also recorded another hit to drop a two-for-five debut, offered Blue Jays fans something to celebrate along with the Club's win, 7-3.
