Pete Alonso wasted no time getting the party started Monday night. He slammed a three-run shot (32) in the opening frame to give his Club a quick 3-0 lead. Two innings later, "Polar Bear" went yard again (33) with a two-run dinger. That makes it his 18th multi-homer game in his career, giving him the third-most in franchise history behind Mets greats David Wright (21) and Darryl Strawberry (22). His 179 home runs is the fourth-most through a player's first five seasons in MLB history.
