Carlos Santana

Yesterday evening, Carlos Santana and his Milwaukee Brewers met with the Miami Marlins at loanDepot park. In the sixth inning, Santana connected with a pitch from Marlins left-handed hurler A.J. Puk to belt his 22nd home run of the 2023 Major League Baseball campaign. Remarkably, the three-run blast was also the 300th of the 37-year-old, Santo Domingo native’s career. Notably, the passing of the milestone was made historic by Santana’s switch-hitting status, becoming just the 10th ambidextrous batter in American League/National League history to do so.
