The amazing run continues for New York Yankees right-hander Luis Gil. The 26-year-old flashed his arsenal yet again on Tuesday, hurling six innings of one-hit baseball and racking up six strikeouts in a 5-1 victory. Gil became the first Yankees pitcher ever to log seven straight outings of six or more innings pitched allowing one run or fewer (fifth in AL history since 1920). He's also the first rookie since Fernando Valenzuela in 1981 to win all seven starts during such a span.
