Heading into the team's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers, the San Francisco Giants rookie carried a four-game home run streak. He continued that run early in the contest, homering in the second inning. Fitzgerald's five-game home run streak is the longest by any Giants rookie all-time. "It's cool and all, but I'm just trying to keep my head down, keep working and not really think about everything that is kind of going on," said Fitzgerald after the game.
