Andrew McCutchen is back in Pittsburgh and the Pirates are thrilled to have him. The 2013 National League MVP returns to the Steel City where he began his MLB career in 2009. McCutchen, a five-time All-Star and four-time Silver Slugger, played his first eight seasons in Pittsburgh before being traded to San Francisco in 2018. He returns to PNC Park as a member of the Pirates once again, bringing his veteran leadership and experience to the lineup. The Pirates and their fans welcome McCutchen home with open arms as he continues to make an impact on the field.
