Walker Buehler

With the Los Angeles Dodgers clinging to a 7-6 lead in the bottom of the ninth inning of Game 5, Manager Dave Roberts called on starter Walker Buehler to close things out. “Buetane” didn’t flinch, retiring the side in order and guiding his team to a World Series title. Buehler had his best stuff when it mattered most, inducing a groundout and two punchouts. He became just the eighth player in MLB history with a win as a starter and a save in the same Postseason series.
