For the first time in their careers, Jameson Taillon and Walker Buehler have been named the AL and NL Pitchers of the Month, respectively. Taillon has been a major bright spot in the New York Yankees rotation as he has clocked in five starts over July and sported a flawless 4-0 record with a minuscule 1.16 ERA. Over to the NL, Buehler has been nothing but dominant. The 27-year-old flamethrower registered a perfect 3-0 record, fanned 38 batters over 32 and 1/3 innings of work, and maintained a 1.67 ERA in the process. Walker sits tied for second place in all of Baseball with 11 wins on the year.
