The New York Yankees made a big offseason splash by signing Max Fried to a record-setting deal. The 30-year-old is set to don the Yankees pinstripes after signing an eight-year, $218 million contract, making it the largest agreement in League history for a left-handed pitcher. Fried sports a 3.07 ERA since his debut in 2017 and has posted a 2.81 ERA since 2020. The California native figures to join Gerrit Cole and Carlos Rodón atop the Yankees starting rotation.
