Logan Gilbert

Seattle’s Logan Gilbert secured a major career milestone and Club record against Tampa Bay. His strikeout of Jonny DeLuca in the second inning marked the 1,000th of his career. Needing just 944 innings, Gilbert broke Randy Johnson’s previous record (957 and 1/3) for the fewest frames needed to reach the millennium mark in a Mariners uniform.
