Bob Feller

APRIL 30, 1946 — Bob Feller returned from four years of service in the military during World War II and threw his second career no-hitter. In front of 38,112 fans in the Bronx, Feller stole the show by dominating the hometown New York Yankees. The right-hander had 11 strikeouts over the course of his gem and became the first pitcher to record a no-hitter at Yankee Stadium.
