Nolan Ryan

MAY 1, 1991 — Nolan Ryan, the 44-year-old right-hander, became the oldest player in MLB history to record a no-hitter after dominating the Blue Jays with 16 strikeouts. The flame-thrower's performance extend his MLB record to seven career no-hitters. Ryan accomplished this feat in front of the home Arlington crowd, as he became the first Texas Rangers pitcher to record a no-hitter at Arlington Stadium.
