The six-time NL All-Star leaped Reds legend, Tony Perez, with his 1,935th career hit off Colorado Rockies pitcher German Marquez. Votto now trails Johnny Bench's 2,048 franchise knocks for fourth place. The Toronto native finished the contest 2-for-5 with two RBI in the 10-3 victory.
