Deadlocked, 1-1, in the bottom of the sixth in Game 1 of the ALCS, the Houston Astros received a barrage of homers that saw the home Club pull away in what was ultimately a 4-2 victory. Yuli Gurriel unlocked the tie with a solo home run to lead off the Astros half of the inning, providing the Club with its first lead of the game. Chas McCormick followed up two batters later with his first career Postseason blast, then rookie star Jeremy Peña chipped in with a solo shot one inning later – his second homer in Postseason play.
